How We Met

We were set up on a blind date by some mutual friends. It was a double date, we had dinner at Tucci's, then we went to a movie (Thank you for smoking) at the Broadway. Danny was so cute- he had on a white button down short sleeve shirt, with grey pants and white adidas shoes. He hardly said anything that first night- it made me curious.  We went out again- this time, just the two of us, to Rio Grande Cafe. He drove us there in his 1958 yellow Chevy truck. I had never been in something so noisy. After dinner we just hung out and talked. We really hit it off that night, and we have had many more wonderful dates since then.

How We Got Engaged

We had talked about getting married- and a few months later we went to Fadels to look at rings. A few weeks later, on November 11, 2007 he popped the question. It was a Sunday, and I had to work until 4. Danny told me that we were having dinner at his dad's house that night, so I rushed home so we could get there on time. When I opened the door, I was greeted with a kitchen filled with tealight candles. Danny had made his specialty- spaghetti and meatballs. Heart-shaped meatballs.  After dinner he asked me if I would marry him. I said yes.

Meet our Kitties

This is Cobain, Kobe, or "The Littlest Cow".  She is a manx, which means she has no tail. She has this strange self soothing habit of licking off all her belly fur. Hence, the pink "udders" you see here in this photo. She may look funny, but she is very cuddly and nice.
This is Matilda, Tilda, Tilda-Sue, Noodle, Nu-nu, and most recently, Tuna. She loves drinking cold water out of the sink, and she loves going outside to eat grass and also to frolic in it. She chases the laser pointer toy until she runs out of breath and has to lay down and rest. She is a very happy cat, and also very friendly.
